Yes, Burlington Kub Kar Fun Day 2012 is going to happen...
As discussed last year, right where it's been for the last several years...on the last Saturday in February:
Saturday, Feb. 25/12, at M.M. Robinson High School... same location and times as last year.
Just the way my work schedule has played out, and, that my partner at work has been off sick since October ( and I can't take any paid leave time )... it's left me very tight for time, and delayed my start on Kub Kar.
Permit is done, School is booked, and I'm working on sponsors, food, trophies and equipment, etc.
I've also spoken with Chuck, and he assures me the Speed Trap WILL be operational for this year, with new and improved computer programming... so I'll include it with the list of events.
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 1st, 2012, at Scout House, immediately following the Cuboree meeting, for crest design submissions & general review of rules, work to be done, tracks, etc.
Attached, please find this year's registration package, including guidelines for crest design, Pack Registration form, and House Rules, and Kub Kar Specifications. No changes from last year.
Registrations can be submitted as soon as possible, with a due date of Feb. 8th, so that Certificates, Licenses, etc can be printed. Costs remain the same as last year. Substitutions can be made up until race day, and additions can be made up to the 15th of February.
Registration forms & payments can be mailed to the address in the package, dropped off to Scout House, to my attention, or, arrangements can be made for pickup.
